Musoken
"Sword Without Equal"
The Musoken study group, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, studies a style of swordmanship that has its origens over 450 years ago when Hayashizaki Jensuke Shigenobu established his style to avenge his father's death.
The Shogun, Toyotomi Hideyoshi bestowed the title of Muso Ken on Hasegawa
Eishin after a demonstration of his school's swordsmanship. Eishin was the
seventh grand master after the founding by Hayashizaki Jinsuke Shigenobu. The
school has since become know by Eishin's name, and has passed down to the modern age as Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu.

The ultimate purpose of this site is the furtherance of Iai. The goal is to encourage artists to seek "Muso Ken" considering the sword, mind and body to be one. For the goal of all martial arts is excellence of mind, body, and, spirit.
The Senior members of the group train regularly under Masayuki Shimabukuro, head of the Jikishin Kai, International, or one of his senior students, bringing back to the group the latest in techniques.

Members of the study group are encouraged to be members of the Jikishin Kai, International. As members, iaidoka can receive internationally recognized
ranking as they progress through the levels of training leading to becoming
yudansha.
The group will be taking the Holiday Season off from training and will resume January 11th. The training will be on Sundays at 3pm, for an hour and a half, or longer, if the will is there. The fourth or fifth Sundays of a month will be taken off, or used for scheduling additional training.
