MUSOKEN
YUKIZURE
Take three cleansing breaths and as you finish inhaling the third time, take your step forward with your right foot.
Next step (left foot) is made with a sharp movement toward the left side (like bumping a person to the side) as you raise your hands to the tsuka, and perform koiguchi no kirikata.
On the next right step, turn 45 degrees to your right as doing a nukitsuke, drawing the sword up and then in a downward arc in to a "power stance," ending with the kissaki pointing upward at about a 45 degree angle.
Furikaburi while turning 90 degrees to your left , and stepping toward the left front quarter with your right foot, perform kirioroshi in a "power stance."
End with Eishin-Ryū chiburi, then Okuden nōtō while remaining in "power stance,"
Slide you right hand to the tsukagashira, maintaining iaigoshi sliding your left foot up to meet the right foot, then turn 45 degrees to your right and step back to your Original starting position.
TSUREDACHI
While you finish inhaling the third time, take step forward with your light foot.
Take your second step (left foot) and raise your hands to the tsuka.
Take your third step, while perform koiguchi no kirikata, turn 45 degrees to the right step with the right foot and thrust forward with both hands, like striking with the tsukagashira.
Pull the saya back, performing nukitsuke by sliding the saya off the blade, take a half step to the rear while turning your left shoulder back to make a one-hand chest level thrust to the rear, keeping the blade horizontal and the cutting edge turned away from you. Support the tsuka with the under side of the right forearm.
Turn to the right front quarter and raise the sword in furikaburi, take a shuffle-step forward with a kirioroshi in "power stance" to your right front.
Eishin-Ryū ("Flick") chiburi, followed by Okuden nōtō while in the "power stance."
SŌMAKURI
At the top of the third cleansing breath, step forward with the right foot. Sep (left foot) and raise your hands to the saya and tsuka
Right foot step and draw about half the blade. Pull the right foot back, completing nukitsuke overhead with an ukenagashi block.
Take a shuffle-step forward with the right foot, sliding left foot forward while perfoming furikaburi and an angular kirioroshi aimed at your opponent's left temple.
With another shuffle-step forward, furikaburi and kirioroshi at neck level on the opposite side (right) of the opponent
Next step forward into a "power stance," with an angular cut of about 45 degrees down to your left, at rib level on the opponent's left side
Without moving your feet, using a twist of your wrists, flip the sword back next to your left side at waist level, take another shuffle-step forward, lunging with the right foot, drag the left foot forward as you perform a suihei cut from left to right. The blade arcing across to your right and the follow through from suihei carrying the blade around and up into furikaburi in one, fluid motion, while pulling the left foot forward to meet the right foot.
Take another step forward with the right foot, finishing with kirioroshi into a "power stance".
Eishin-Ryū chiburi, followed by Okuden nōtō while remaining in "power stance"
SŌDOME
Take the three cleansing breaths, then on the third breath, step forward with your right foot. Raise your hands to the tsuka as you step with the left foot.
Take your third step, perform nukitsuke, landing in a "power stance" turning the hips to the left.. The blade is angled upward at about a 45-degree angle, at the edge or just outside of your body line..
Step forward with the left foot, just slightly ahead of the right, foot rotating your hips forward, performing nōtō with only a couple of inches of blade unsheathed.
Step forward with your right foot and perform nukitsuke exactly as before
Step forward with your left foot as before, rotating your hips forward, performing nōtō with only a couple of inches of blade unsheathed.
Perform a third nukitsuke, exactly like before and this time, shift to a "front stance" as you do Eishin-Ryū chiburi, followed by Okuden nōtō .
As you finish the third cleansing breath, step forward with the right foot and raise your hands to the tsuka, begin nukitsuke as you take the second step (left foot) at about a 45-degree angle to the left Nukitslike should be slow and very quiet.
Complete nukitsuke while taking your third step, crossing your right foot in front of your left.
Bend both knees, lowering your body while maintaining erect posture as you turn 90 degrees to your right (45 degrees to the right of front). Reach out and lightly tap the floor twice with the kissaki.
Still facing 45 degrees to your right, step forward with your right foot into "power stance" with kirioroshi .
Eishin-Ryū ("Flick") chiburi, followed by Okuden nōtō .
YUKICHIGAI
As you finish inhaling the third time, take the first step forward with the right foot.
Take the second step (left foot) grasp the saya and tsuka.
Take the third step, and perform koiguchi no kirikata while turning slightly to the left and thrusting forward with both hands, performing tsuka-ate (striking with the butt of the handle) at face height.
Pull the saya back, and pivot, without changing the position of your feet,180 degrees to your left, completing nukitsuke as an ukenagashi block.
In a continuous motion without moving your feet furikaburi, and with both hands strike downward with kirioroshi,
Furikaburi as you pivot without moving your feet 180 degrees to your right and finish with another kirioroshi.
Complete the waza with Eishin-Ryū ("Flick") and okuden nōtō .
SODE SURIGAESHI
Take three cleansing breath and on the third breath, step with your right foot. Step with the left foot. Draw most of the sword blade while taking the third step.
As you finish drawing the sword, step back with your right foot, raise up on your toes and cross your arms in front of you, so that the sword is pointing straight back behind you, cutting edge up.
Lower your hips and take a long step forward with your right foot, spreading your arms to the sides. The sword should now be pointing straight ahead, edge upward.
Slide the left foot up to meet the right foot as you raise the sword to furikaburi, then step forward with your right foot and perform kirioroshi in a "power stance".
Without changing your stance, perform Eishin-Ryū chiburi, then Okuden nōtō .
MONIRI
At the completion of your three cleansing breaths, Step forward with your right foot. On the second step (left foot) raise your hands to the tsuka and saya, and perform koiguchi no kirikata.
On your third step, draw most of the sword and complete nukitsuke on your fourth step (left foot) by pulling the sword back to your right side, parallel to the floor and edge away from you next to your hip. Step forward with your right foot into a "power stance" and perform a one- handed thrust, supporting the tsuka against the underside of your forearm and the blade horizontal.
Turn 180 degrees to your left and perform furikaburi, with both hands, then step forward with your right foot in "power stance." Make sure you have taken a complete step, then perform kirioroshi .
Again turn 180 degrees to your left during furikaburi, and step forward with your right foot in "power stance." Make sure you have taken a complete step, and perform another kirioroshi.
Without shifting your stance, perform Eishin-Ryū chiburi, then Okuden nōtō .
KABEZOE
At the completion of your cleansing breaths, step forward with your right foot, then left foot, raise your hands to the tsuka,. On your third step, draw your right foot even with your left foot and rise onto tiptoe drawing the sword almost straight upward.
Allow the kissaki to swing around just past your shoulder and behind you as you raise your left hand to the tsuka for furikaburi.
While still on tiptoe, perform kirioroshi, allowing the kissaki to swing down to about knee level remaining on tiptoe, perform a shortened chiburi with a snap and twist of your right wrist. Then a modified Okudennōtō, keeping your left elbow snug against your side and raising the tsuka to face level during the rapid portion of nōtō.
While completing the slow portion of nōtō , lower yourself to a flatfooted stance and you lower both hands to a normal finishing position.
UKENAGASHI
As you finish your third cleansing breath, step forward with your right foot. On your second step, your left foot crosses in front of your right, so you are turned about 45 degrees to the right as you perform koiguchi no kirikata and draw about one-third to one-half of the sword.
Your right foot crossing to the rear of your left and back to the right in a triangular pattern much like that used in the Shoden version of Ukenagashi-as you twist your upper body 45 degrees to your left, facing front, and complete nukitsuke as a rising ukenagashi .
Twist your upper body another 45 degrees to your left as the sword swivels into furikaburi, the left hand grasps the tsuka, and shuffle step (left foot, then right foot)forward with kirioroshi. kirioroshi is completed with the feet together in iaigoshi.
Remain facing 45 degrees to the left of your original direction, .step back with your left foot into a "power stance" as you perform Eishin-Ryū chiburi. After Okuden nōtō .
